Susan Heinlein
Susan has over 20 years experience working with companies to develop customer focused growth strategies by aligning resources across the organization, simplifying and improving business processes, and identifying critical actions to improve business results. Her areas of expertise include business planning and financial analysis, business performance reporting, pricing, value proposition development and communication, change management and process design and improvement. She has led finance, pricing and operations teams in financial services and manufacturing organizations.
Susan works with companies to identify the value of their products and services from a customer perspective and then align their pricing, sales compensation and execution processes to drive business growth. She has experience working with a range of clients from small start up to large organizations. Susan also helps Finance leaders and organizations improve their effectiveness and increase their contribution to the business.
Previously, Susan spent 9 years at GE in senior finance and leadership roles. As SVP Global Pricing and Customer Implementation at GE Fleet Services, she was responsible for the development and implementation of pricing strategies and tactics that contributed to significant improvement in operations and business results. The pricing strategies and techniques she developed were recognized as best practices across GE. She also led business-wide initiatives to increase employee engagement and improve the organization’s customer focus. Prior to GE, Susan spent 10 years at Honeywell in a broad range of Finance roles, including 2 years located in Hong Kong at Honeywell Asia Pacific, Inc.
Susan holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Strategic Management from the Carlson School of Business and a B.A. in Business Administration from the College of St. Catherine. She is a Six Sigma certified Master Black Belt.
