Sandra Marshall

Sandra is a licensed organizational psychologist with extensive experience both as a consultant and an internal HR manager. She helps clients manage their talent pipeline by enhancing their selection, appraisal, development, engagement and retention practices. She also works with key support functions, such as HR, IT and Legal, helping them to contribute more effectively to their organizations by better understanding and partnering with their internal customers. Her clients include for-profit, nonprofit and educational institutions.

Her expertise includes survey and other research design, competency modeling, outcome-based measurement, and the creation of other assessment and development tools. Sandra brings both a solid grounding in methodology and hands-on project management experience to her consulting work.

Previously, Sandra was Manager, Management Development for PepsiCo, Inc. where she was responsible for executive development, succession planning programs, coaching and corporate culture surveys. She also served as Vice President at Merrill Lynch where she was responsible for company-wide initiatives in the areas of sales selection and retention, management performance appraisal, and executive education.

Sandra holds a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from New York University. She is a past President of the Metropolitan New York Association for Applied Psychology (METRO), a member of the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) and the International Coach Federation (ICF). She is certified to administer the Hogan Leadership Series and other formal assessments. She has been certified as an executive coach by ICoachNY. Sandra is an adjunct professor at NYU where she teaches research methodology to Master’s Degree students in Management and Technology.
